Given the dynamic nature of health care delivery, new roles and extended practice have been introduced into the Health Service with increased frequency by Radiographers with the support of radiologists. None of this could have happened without the close relationship between the higher education institutes and the clinical environment.
This innovative one day conference will look at the broader spectrum of advance practice radiographers are now involved in, how it has impacted on service delivery and also on individual roles.
We will hear from both the academic and clinical perspective and how they are working in partnership to create the expert practitioners of the future.
This aims to be an interesting and informative day where individuals will be able to gain ideas which may contribute to the strategic development of radiology departments and at the same time enhance the radiographer’s role.
